What is this workshop about? This workshop is developed to introduce you with oil painting. You will spend 2-3 hours painting a picture by your choice: landscape, seascape, fruits, pond or flowers. We prepared some pictures for you, but if you have something you would like to paint in the class, please, bring the printed picture with you. You will learn how to mix paints, how to apply them on the canvas and how to treat with oils in general. Is it for me? We recommend this class for those who never tried oils before or have just little experience.. Although oil-painting requires more efforts and skills than watercolors or acrylics, it can become a new hobby for everyone. If you like to work with oils you may take our regular classes and improve your skills. You will leave the workshop with a finished painting, but several days will be required for the picture to dry. Is experience necessary? No experience necessary. How many workshops do I need? You need one workshop to try oil-painting, but you need a lot of practice to create professional paintings and to improve your skills. It must be expensive? Not at all.
