Drawing and painting lessons for children from 4 years old
1. Drawing in pencils, crayons, and pastels; 2. Painting in watercolours, gouache and acrylics on paper or canvas; 3. Painting in acrylics on rocks; 4. Making pictures and objects of dough and painting them; 5. Making collages from paper, natural materials etc. You can have a look at what children do on drawing and painting classes in the Children Gallery. Although we can offer a lot of art activities for children we are focused on drawing and painting.

Usually children like drawing and make their first pictures as they grab a pencil. We have developed and use our program based on step-by-step methods. Every drawing starts with basic shapes (circles, ovals, squares, rectangles etc.) and after that we add details, erase lines we don't need and the picure is ready for colouring! For kids 4-7 years old we recommend pencils and crayons and for children over 7 years old - watercolours or goache.

Your children can join anytime and take as many drawing classes as you like, but we recommend to start from at least one 1-hour session per week. We offer both one-on-one lessons and group classes. Your children can attend our art classes either in New Westminster or Vancouver Downtown; also we can come to your place.
Our rates for drawing and painting classes are very affordable and start from $13 per hour.
