"I was born and spent most of my life in St.Petersburg, Russia - the city of artists, or cultural capital of Russia as most people say. I don’t belong to those artists who started their career in arts in early childhood.
Although I was interested in drawing from first years of my life, I got education in finances and spent over 8 years in the investment area. In 2005 I started learning academic drawing and painting and in 2009, when I moved to Canada and settled in Vancouver, I decided to quit the finances and devote myself to the arts. The same year I opened an art school for children and adults.
While I like to take advantages of every medium I prefer painting in watercolours and oils."
